Emily Semow, PsyD

I am a clinical psychologist with extensive experience providing psychotherapy to meet the needs of diverse clients.

My doctoral training at the Wright Institute as well as my work at the Ann Martin Center, Access Institute, and the Healthy Teen Project have equipped me with the knowledge, skills, and clinical experience to help my clients find healing and growth. I strive to create a safe environment in which people can express themselves freely. I appreciate the unique strengths and struggles of my clients, and am glad to do this meaningful and satisfying work.

I provide individual psychotherapy to teens and adults. Many of the people who have come to see me have struggled with: anxiety, depression, impacts of one or multiple traumas, impacts of social injustice, eating disorders and disordered eating.

In addition to my private practice, I am a psychotherapist at The Healthy Teen Project (HTP) in San Francisco. HTP is one of the primary partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for adolescents struggling with severe eating disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges.

My office is located in the Cow Hollow neighborhood of San Francisco, CA. I offer both in-person and virtual therapy. My pronouns are she, her, and hers. For more information visit my website.
